Oracle Card Reading

Oracle cards are a tool that can be used for guidance, self-reflection, and gaining clarity around a specific question or issue. If you are interested in trying out oracle cards for yourself, follow these simple steps: ask a question, shuffle the deck, choose your cards, and interpret their meaning. With practice, you will become more confident in reading oracle cards and uncovering the messages they have for you!

Getting Started
The first thing you need to do is choose a deck. There are a lot of different decks out there, so take your time and find one that speaks to you. Once you've chosen your deck, it's time to start reading! Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Step One: Ask a Question

The first step is to ask a question. It can be anything you want an answer to such as “What do I need to know about my love life?”, “What is my purpose in life?”, or “How can I improve my relationships?”. Once you have asked your question, move on to step two.

Step Two: Shuffle the Deck

After you have asked your question, it is time to shuffle the deck. While doing so, you can ask to connect to your higher self or divine assistance for guidance.. You can shuffle the deck however you feel comfortable doing it. Some people like to shuffle until they feel their energy in the cards while others shuffle until the cards feel light. It doesn’t matter how you shuffle the deck as long as you are comfortable with it. Once you have finished shuffling, move on to step three.

Step Three: Draw Your Cards or Choose a Spread

Once you've asked your question, it's time to draw your cards from the deck and read them as a single cards or place them in the positions laid out in your chosen spread.

Pick your cards from the deck. There is no specific number of cards you need to draw, let your intuition guide you. The first to catch your eye is usually the most significant to your question.

A pendulum is another way to choose cards, ask your pendulum to show you which cards have something you need to know, Swing your pendulum above your cards and let it direct you to which ones to pull.

Choose your spread. A spread, refers to the number of cards and pattern the cards will be laid out, for example, three cards for a timeline of past, present, and future. There are many different ways to lay out oracle cards, if you're not sure which one to choose, you can always consult a reference book or look online for guidance.

Step Four: Read your cards.

Once you have chosen your cards, take a moment to interpret them and see what message they have for you or consult your guidebook for a description of its potential meaning.

Try to interpret each card both individually and as part of the larger whole; often, the most accurate readings come from looking at the big picture.

After you have interpreted the message from your card reading, don’t forget to thank your oracle cards for their guidance!

Tips
